Fitchburg Community Theater

Fitchburg, MA

One of the main features of the new Fitchburg High School is a 750-seat auditorium with full dramatic lighting, sound, and rigging.  It is designed with a sloped floor and is on the caliber of a junior-college level.

The front entrance of the new high school opens into a dramatic two-story lobby that is flooded with natural light from the skylight above.  Both the auditorium and fieldhouse open onto the lobby.  This layout allows for the rest of the school to be sealed off while these two facilities are being used for community functions in the evenings and on weekends.
