Suffolk County Superior Courthouse

DRA was hired to examine and develop options for a permanent home for the Boston Municipal Court and the Suffolk County Superior Court. The two-part feasibility study, programming and planning resulted in renovation of the 8-story 90,000 sf Edward W. Brooke Courthouse facility to house the Boston Municipal Court (BMC) functions.

The Superior Courthouse received an occupied phased renovation of nearly 425,000 sf, a 28 floor – 21 Courtroom Facility in Boston’s Pemberton Square. The project was completed in 2003.
