Yes! We are still here
… and getting ready to celebrate our 100th Anniversary in 2023.
Since we’ve been quiet for some time, we’re going jump back to the beginning of 2022. We kicked off the year with two new high school clients – Tri-County Regional Vocational School in Franklin, Massachusetts, and Burlington High School in Vermont.
Tri-County is our seventh career tech school that is part of the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s (MSBA) core program. We assessed the building, developed an educational program, determined space needs, came up with eight options, narrowed it to three, held workshops, presented to the committees and community, and if all goes as planned, we will submit the preferred schematic report to the MSBA before Christmas. Phew!
In Vermont, we are collaborating with Freemen, French, Freemen and Colin P. Lindberg on the Burlington High School. The selection committee noted that all references indicated an extraordinarily positive experience working and collaborating with the architectural team and included not only school district superintendents, but also facility directors and personnel involved with long term maintenance and operations of the buildings. It is truly a great example of successful partnering, because by developing an option that was right for the City, voters approved moving forward with construction of the new high school and technical center in November.
Stay tuned in the coming days to learn more about our new clients as well as some long-established ones. We’ll also showcase some project milestones throughout 2022 – ground breakings, ribbon cuttings, and successful project votes.
