DRA is pleased to announce that Secil Yakin, Senior Interior Designer, recently earned her NCIDQ Certification, a globally recognized hallmark of a highly-qualified interior designer.

Secil joined DRA in 2016. Her 11 years of experience includes projects for educational, civic, corporate and commercial clients. She is a talented designer with a true passion for sustainable design. Secil is also dedicated to mentoring and tutoring the younger staff. She received her master’s degree in Interior Design from the Boston Architectural College (BAC).

“We are proud of Secil for this achievement,” said Ann Marie Procopio, Director of Interiors for DRA. “The NCIDQ certification indicates a genuine commitment to the design profession. Secil is truly passionate about her profession and dedicated to its integrity.”

DRA is committed to the professional development of its employees. Professional development and life-long learning are an important part of the culture at DRA.

Congratulations Secil!

Chuxin Zhang recently joined DRA in a full-time role as Interior Designer/Virtual Reality Specialist. Chuxin came to DRA in 2017 as an intern from the Boston Architectural College, where she received her master’s degree in Interior Design. Applying her technical skills and knowledge, she has become an integral part of our interiors group and a valuable team member.

Chuxin is also our in-house specialist for Virtual Reality. DRA’s Virtual Reality Studio allows our design team and clients to explore their designs, and see their ideas come to life. With our VR equipment, users are able to take a virtual walk through a space while still in the early design stage and get a sense of the project space before construction even begins.

Welcome Chuxin!
