A new 600-student middle school was designed with core which include a library/IMC, 400-seat auditorium, cafeteria designed to seat 200, computer lab, technology shop, family/consumer science room, art room (with a kiln), music room, and a gymnasium with two teaching stations.
The classroom areas are designed using a concept of student teams. This idea is reinforced through grouping classrooms around a multipurpose cluster that provides a space where students can gather for educational activities. Skylights flood the cluster areas with natural daylight to create a lively and dynamic atmosphere for learning.
